High-Altitude Long Endurance UAV

A conceptual study of HALE UAV that prioritize endurance, efficiency, and a quieter relationship with the atmosphere

An evening concept rendering of a twin-fuselage solar HALE UAV flying above mountains and water

A high-altitude long-endurance (HALE) UAV is an aircraft that can fly at high altitudes for extended periods, with a large wingspan and lightweight construction. Here, we made a 10m span with a 50 kg MTOW and a normal operating time of more than 12 hours per day. Here, my responsibility is to calculate the aerodynamic performance, stability, and control, including the rotor-body interaction simulation.

I will update this periodically
